Vegan Nation, The Stylish Vegan is constantly asked, “Hey, Stylish One, your knowledge of veg fashion is unrivaled but what about music? What are you listening to?” Well, as you all know, music is style and fashion and one of the most important parts of our lives (at least mine anyway). I gots to have it. And while it’s becoming increasingly clear that the only vegan running for president is not going to get the nomination, a distraction is enormously needed.
So, veganistos, here’s what I’ve been listening to over and over and over. TSV tends to do that. It’s just how I am. Can’t you accept me for what I am? On with the show.
Daft Punk – “Alive 2007″. Now TSV has never been a big Daft fan, pretty much ambivalent toward the robotic looking duo. That all changed when this vid crossed my cyber desk. Now, the Bimmer blasts the latest at very high decibels.
Veganistos, you are all well aware of my fondness for House and Trance. It seems to work with TSV’s lifestyle very well. But hang on, it’s not all speed and boogie. Sometime your hero needs to slow it down. And these days my fave is from Telepopmusik. Alright, I know, this video is not from the latest album, Angel Milk, but it’s a sweet ass pic from the previous release.
Nice. Finally, the mp3 disk that The Stylish Vegan is wearing out the grooves (if that is possible with lasers and no grooves) is from Jens Lekman. “Night Falls Over Kortedala” is a fabulistic disk by an amazingly young and talented Swiss Person.
Excuse me while I watch these vids a few more times. I’ll be right back.
There you have a sampling of what The Stylish Vegan is groovin to these days. Sometimes with a cocktail in hand but always looking the dandy. And you didn’t know that already?
We got a doozy for tonight’s VegNews Frivolous Celeb of the Day. So here we go.

As if these asinine award weren’t vomit-inducing to begin with, well look again. There’s a writer’s strike, TSV has heard, that seems to be affecting some of this trash. The People’s Choice Awards effectively went from unbelievably obnoxious to “please give me a bomb to drop on the Hollywood studios to stop this nonsense” bad. And TSV believes that’s not such a bad idea.
